Introducing three friends and one idea: the delicious recipe for a tasty challenge!

Meet Giacomo Maurizio and Alex, friends for over 15 years. All seasoned fine-dining hospitality expert and when they combined their skills during Melbourne's 2021 lockdown, they sparked something truly remarkable.

It all started with their craving for a seafood sandwich (or panino, as they call it) they couldn’t find anywhere. With each panino they made, they realised they had something special to offer. This is when Pescato was born - a place where people could experience the flavours of the ocean in a simple, fresh, and delicious way.

The real challenge was to share their love for seafood with others and create a community around it. They wanted to offer a new way of enjoying seafood that would connect them with their customers and their customers with the ocean.
